DAY 05 — Blood Vessels of the Neck, QBank & Jack and Jiya

D

Day 05 of my NEET PG 2027 preparation.

Today’s Anatomy session was about the blood vessels of the neck. Along with studying the topic, I also worked through the QBank.

Anatomy has so many details that it’s easy to feel like you’ve understood something while watching a lecture, only to realise during questions that you still need to revise it. That’s why I want to keep incorporating QBank practice into my preparation instead of relying only on lectures.

But studying wasn’t the only thing on my mind today.

My kittens, Jack and Jiya, who were born on 22 September 2026, developed conjunctivitis. Their eyes were affected, and I was worried about them because they’re still so young.

I got them checked by a veterinarian, who prescribed antibiotic eye drops.

It’s a small part of the day compared with studying for an entrance exam, but when you have pets at home, their health naturally becomes a priority. I wanted to make sure they got the attention they needed rather than simply waiting for the problem to go away.

Having them around has also become part of my everyday routine. There are little responsibilities at home that don’t fit into a timetable, and sometimes they end up taking more of your attention than you expected.

That’s real life, I suppose.

I’m trying to prepare for NEET PG 2027, keep up with internship and document this phase as honestly as I can. Not every day is going to be just about lectures and MCQs. Some days will include things like taking care of the kittens, too.

For today, the log records blood vessels of the neck, some QBank practice, and a visit to the vet for Jack and Jiya.

Day 05 logged.
