DAY 03 — Getting Into the Routine

D

Day 3.

The initial excitement of starting has started to settle down, and now it is becoming more about actually doing the work.

I’m still figuring out how to manage preparation with internship. I don’t want to make a timetable that looks great on paper but falls apart after a few busy days.

So I’m keeping things simple for now.

Sit down when I get the time. Study properly. Finish what I can. Then come back the next day.

I’m also trying to get used to longer study sessions. It’s easy to think that you need to study for a huge number of hours to make progress, but I’m beginning to realise that being able to concentrate properly for the time I have is probably more important.

The plan is still taking shape.

I know there are a lot of subjects ahead, a lot of lectures to watch and an even bigger number of questions to solve. But looking at the entire syllabus every day doesn’t really help.

Today, I just focused on today’s work.

One session at a time.

That’s probably how this preparation is going to happen.
